Assignments
Note: Foothill College prefers that instructors use the Test Center for all assignments, including essays and other non-test assignments. They are no longer updating the assignment tool, but for the moment, it is still available for use.
Using the assignments tool to crate and grade assignments is easy. Here are the steps:
When you click on "Assignments" from the Etudes class Web site menu, you are taken to a list of all of the assignments you have created, including both posted assignments and drafts that you are still working on.

Adding assignments is easy.
Next, set the assignment due dates.
Etudes allows students to submit work using the assignment editor or as an attachment and gives you a variety of grading scale options to choose from.

Next, add your assignment instructions.

The assignment tool will notify your students that a new assignment has been posted automatically, add the open and due dates to the schedule for you, and send grades to the gradebook when you grade them. What could be easier!
You may attach a file or a link to a Web page to your assignment.

If you click "Preview" instead of "Post" at the bottom of your assignment, you can see what students will see when they view the assignment.
