Welcome!  My name is Neil Roberts, and I’m the counselor for VCAP. 

As you may or may not know, VCAP is ending after the fall 2012 semester due to budget cuts.  If you are a continuing or returning VCAP student, I will still be available June/July/August  in General Counseling (temporary location, old Administration Building), providing guidance, information, and support.  

My “Drop-in” hours (no appointment) for questions and short consultations are:
Monday through Thursday 5 to 6pm and Friday 12 to 1pm

30-minute appointments are also available.  Scheduled appointments are for transcript evaluation, educational planning, career counseling, and to discuss other academic or related issues in depth.

I’m always interested in assisting students to determine and successfully achieve their goals, both educationally and personally.  I was a reentry adult student myself in the 1980’s, and began working at Valley College after age 40.

Drop-in: (10 minutes, no appointment necessary):
Monday through Thursday - 5:00pm to 6:00pm
Friday 12:00pm to 1:00pm
