Our purpose

To increase the rate at which high school graduates pursue post secondary education, as well as increase competency in core subjects; this includes English, Mathematics, Science, Social Science, and Foreign Language. We also want to gain parental support in social, emotional, and academic growth of their children.

Who is eligible to Participate in Upward Bound

  1. To be eligible for the Upward Bound Program at Los Angeles Valley College students must attend one of the following LAUSD Schools:

    • Ulysses S. Grant High School Van Nuys, California
