UC DAVIS TRANSFER ADMISSION AGREEMENT TAA |
To write
a TAA requires the completion of: á

UC-transferable semester (or 45 quarter) units á
2.8
– 3.1 GPA (dependent upon major) You
have time to attend summer session to reach 30 units or to raise your GPA if
needed. Majors
excluded from TAAs: Exploratory,
Undeclared - Life Sciences, Undeclared - Fine Arts, Humanities, Physical
Sciences or Social Sciences. |
Submit
your TAA to UC Davis for Fall, beginning September 5 of the previous year,
until limits are reached, no later than Sept. 29. |

UC IRVINE PRELIMINARY
ADMISSION-IN-THE-FIELD PAIF |
You may
be eligible for admission to UCI through PAIF if you meet all three of the following requirements: á
Completion
of 60 transferable semester units (90 quarter units) by the end of the quarter prior
to your enrolling at UCI, and attainment of at least the minimum GPA
specified by the major you have chosen (refer to the guidelines). á
Completion
of the minimum UC transfer eligibility requirements in English (two courses)
and transferable mathematics (one course). The mathematics and first English
course must be completed at the time of your preliminary admission
notification. The second English course must be completed by end of Spring
for following Fall and by end of Summer for following Winter. á
Completion
of all course prerequisites for whichever of the following majors you have
chosen to pursue at UCI - Applied Ecology (not available in Fall 2006), Biological Sciences, Chemistry,
Computer Science, Earth and Environmental Sciences, Engineering (all majors),
Information and Computer Sciences, Mathematics, or Physics - prior to
enrolling at UCI. NOTE:
The majors in Arts and Humanities, Dance, Humanities and Arts, Humanities
Interdisciplinary, and Music do not participate in the PAIF program for Fall
2006 and Winter 2007. |
Make an
appt with a UCI admissions counselor at the UCI campus. The meeting should
be scheduled sometime during the six weeks prior to the closing of the
priority filing period for the quarter you wish to enter UCI. Winter
2007 - Will close on August 31, 2006

Before
you can meet with a UCI admissions counselor about the review of your
application materials for PAIF, you must accomplish the three following
tasks: - Review
the "Selection Guidelines" chart to
determine if you qualify to proceed with your PAIF application. - Submit
an online application and Personal Statement for Fall quarter and print a
copy for UCI. -Enter a
07 code
(which signifies PAIF) in the "Transfer Admission Program" section
of your admission application. |

To
qualify for UCSB Transfer Admission Agreement, you must: 1. Apply
for admission to UCSB during the priority application filing period (November
1-30). 2.
Complete the required courses in English composition (two courses designated
as UC-E on the UC-Transferable Course Agreement) and mathematics (one course
designated as UC-M on the UC-Transferable Course Agreement) with C grades or
better by the end of fall for following fall admission.
3.
Before transfer, complete at least 60 UC-transferable semester units by the
end of spring for following fall admission. 4.
Before transfer, complete four courses selected from among at least two of
the following three areas with C grades or better in each course by the end
of spring for following fall admission: a) Arts
and Humanities (designated UC-H on the UC-Transferable Course Agreement) b)
Behavioral and Social Sciences (UC-B on the UC-Transferable Course Agreement) c)
Biological and Physical Sciences (UC-S on the UC-Transferable Course
Agreement) 5.
Complete the last 30 of your 60 or more UC-transferable semester units in
residence at your current community college or at any California community
college. 6. Earn
a minimum GPA of 3.00 in all UC-transferable course work completed by the end
of fall for following fall admission.
Students must maintain a minimum GPA of
3.0 through the end of spring. 7. For
the TAA, some majors in the College of Letters and Science may require additional
completion of specific major preparation course work. |

qualify for the UCSB TAA, you must apply for admission to UCSB during the
application filing period for Fall. Applications are due by November 30th
of the previous year. |

for the GATE Program, students must: á

majors in the College of Natural and Agricultural Sciences, the majors of
Computer Science and Information Systems in the Bourns College of
Engineering, and all majors in the College of Humanities, Arts, and Social

A UC Riverside Transfer Counselor will write your TAG
contract when you have met the following criteria as a California community
college student: á
Be
a U.S. citizen, Permanent Resident or AB540 qualified. Because of the
complexity of international academic records, students on visas are not
eligible for TAG. ¥ All
course work must be completed at a California community college with no gaps
in your education. Although UC Riverside accepts course work from other
colleges and universities, we write TAG contracts for students with course
work taken exclusively at California community colleges. ¥ Have
at least 30 semester (45 quarter) UC-transferable units with a GPA as
required for your intended major as shown below. You must complete all the mathematics and English
courses required for UC eligibility with a grade C or better in each course
by the following schedule: Fall Admission: complete courses by the
previous spring term Major-Specific Requirements for
TAG: á
Majors
in the College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences (other than Business
Administration), require a minimum 2.8 GPA. á
Business
Administration
requires a minimum 3.0 GPA and completion of at least 4 of the 7 (out of 10)
UC Riverside-required courses with grades C or better with no course repeats
in progress or planned to replace D or less grades. á
Majors
in the College of Natural and Agricultural Sciences require a minimum 3.0 GPA and
completion of all required courses necessary to satisfy selection criteria
for any selecting major with a grade of C or better in each course. á
Majors
in Computer Science and Information Systems in the Bourns College of
Engineering
require a minimum 3.0 GPA and completion of the entire sequence of
transferable calculus and C+ or C++ language courses with B grades or better. |
