Closure of Business Office Parking Lot and Three North Gym Parking Spaces Due to the Relocation of the LRC Bungalow
April 14 – April 18, 2014
From Monday, April 14-Friday, April 18, a mobile modular moving company will be relocating the eleven modular units that make up the LRC Bungalow (e.g. temporary Learning Center/Media Service).During this time, the parking lot adjacent to the Business Office and the McCarthy job trailer will be closed, and three parking spaces by the North Gym will be blocked off. The new location will be south of the CSIT Modular, as shown in this map. The modular units will be moved off their foundations, rotated in the Business Office parking lot, and transported by special equipment to the newly constructed foundation walls in the LRC job site. Two or three modules will be transported each day, between 5 a.m. and 7 p.m.; the path of travel that should be followed during this time is shown on the map. All other parking at the North Gym and the CPM trailer will remain open for about 30 minutes when the modular unit is in transit through the lot. Traffic control will be provided by the contractor with several flagmen to ensure safe travel of the unit and the safety of pedestrians who may be in the area.
