STUDENT LEARNS HOW TO UNDERSTAND AND HANDLE DIFFICULT CUSTOMERS, DEVELOPING EFFECTIVE CUSTOMER SERVICE STRATEGIES, METHODS AND ATTITUDE. STUDENT LEARNS HOW TO COMMUNICATE AND FUNCTION IN A CULTURALLY DIVERSE WORKPLACE. THE STUDENT WILL UNDERSTAND AND DEMONSTRATE HOW TO USE XP WINDOWS (MICROSOFT WORD AND EXCEL. OUTLOOK AND E-MAIL) AND UNDERSTAND THE FUNDAMENTALS OF SELLING. THE STUDENT WILL LEARN HOW TO MANAGE TIME EFFECTIVELY. THE STUDENT WILL PREPARE A WORKPLACE PORTFOLIO (RESUME, COVER LETTER AND OTHER CORRESPONDENCE). THE STUDENT WILL LEARN HOW TO PREPARE FOR A JOB INTERVIEW. THE STUDENT WILL LEARN HOW TO BE A TEAM PLAYER, UTILIZE A POSITIVE ATTITUDE AND BALANCING HOME AND WORK. THE STUDENT WILL EARN A CERTIFICATE OF ACCOMPLISHMENT UPON COMPLETION OF THE PROGRAM. |
