With degrees from California State University, Northridge, Ellen earned a MA in Early Childhood Education with an emphasis in Educational Psychology and a BA in Child Development. Ellen also holds a certification in Human Resources Management.

 

Her career experiences in the field of early childhood include preschool teaching and administration, parenting educator, and grant program coordinator. From experiences as an adult trainer in industry, as well as the California Early Childhood Mentor Program, Ellen has a strong foundation for teaching and guiding early childhood educators to become supervisors and mentors of student teachers and staff.

 

Currently Ellen’s professional interest is focused on using technology to teach community college courses and connect with students. She has completed an Etudes Certification of Proficiency and is developing an on-line class for Adult Supervision/Early Childhood Mentoring, CD65.
