About Professor Baca
Professor of: Child Development Phone: (818) 947-2584 Email: dicksotj@lavc.edu Tracey grew up in Tennessee and received her B.A. degree in Psychology and her M.S. degree in Child and Family Studies from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville (UTK). She worked in UTK's campus chid care programs and lab school. Later, she moved to Atlanta, Georgia, where she worked for Save the Children/Child Care Solutions for several years. Eventually, Tracey settled in Los Angeles, where she continued working in the field of child care resource and referral. Tracey started her teaching career in 1997 and has been a full-time faculty member in the Child Development Department at LAVC since 1999.
