Continuing Education (Noncredit Programs)
How to Register
You pay no tuition and begin most classes at any time during the semester. If you never attended Los Angeles Valley College or if you stopped attending for two or more semesters, you will need to complete an admissions application. You can complete it online at www.lavc.edu. After completing the admissions process, you may enroll in classes.
1. New students may enroll online or by obtaining an add card from the instructor when attending the class for the first time.
2. Returning students receive a registration appointment date and then the may enroll in the Continuing Education office, by phone, at http://www.lavc.edu/, or in class.
Before Enrolling in ESL Classes
ESL students take the noncredit ESL placement test. To find out more about course placement, go to Bungalow 13, call 818-778-5594, or ask your instructor.
Books may be purchased for about $40; some students may be eligible for financial assistance.
