PR Request Form
The LAVC Public Relations Office can assist LAVC departments, programs and services with the following:
Request Deadline - At least one month prior (or 3 months in advance if you are asking for the press release to be sent to a monthly publication)
- Posting an announcement about your event/news in the LAVC College Bulletin* (weekly newsletter)
Request Deadline - At least 10 business days in advance of your event or the announcement start date
- Posting a message on the LAVC Electronic Marquee*
Request Deadline - At least 10 business days in advance of your event or the announcement start date
- Posting an calendar listing on the LAVC online calendar*
Request Deadline - At least 10 business days in advance of your event
- Posting a "News & Events" announcements on the LAVC Homepage
Request Deadline - At least 10 business days in advance of your event
- Posting an announcement on LAVC's Facebook and/or Twitter Pages
Request Deadline - At least 10 business days in advance of your event or the announcement start date

Please note: The LAVC Public Relations Office primarily functions to only assist LAVC departments and programs. It can also provide limited assistance for events held at LAVC (e.g. rental of campus facilities), and those particular services are noted with an * above. All requests by organizations or groups not directly affiliated with LAVC will be denied.
Just follow the following steps:
Step 1
Click below to download the PR Project Request Form. (Please note: Only one event or series of the same event per request form; multiple events submitted on one form will be denied.)Step 2
Fill in the form and save the form into “My Documents” (if on a PC) or "Documents" (if on a Mac).
Step 3
Email the completed form (& remember to attach a copy of your flyer* or logo) to news@lavc.edu. Requests submitted to the incorrect email address will be delayed or unfulfilled.
*** Please note*** All campus events must meet the guidelines of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Therefore, all flyers promoting events on campus must contain contact information for individuals to make a request for an accommodation. Flyers submitted without a "request for accommodation" notice, may prohibit or delay the PR Office from providing promotional assistance for your event. Contact the Public Relations Office at news@lavc.edu for a sample of the "request for accommodation" text.
