Chris is responsible for the operations of the Administrative Services unit, which includes contracts and purchasing, bookstore, budget office, business office, college sheriff, community services, information technology, maintenance and operations, payroll and personnel, reprographics and mailroom, inventory control/physical space inventory, and the athletic department. He is a lifelong “education person” and has worked the education field for 18 years.
Prior to coming to LAVC, Chris served as the Director of Fiscal Services for Santa Monica College, overseeing all of the Santa Monica Community College District’s financially related activities including finance, budget, accounting and auditing. He has also worked with the Los Angeles City College Foundation as Senior Accountant and the Los Angeles County Office of Education as a Behavior Manager/Para-Educator. Chris is a product of the California Community College system, and holds a B.S. in Accountancy.
