Brief Bio I grew up among the orange groves of Riverside, CA. I started out my educational career at Riverside Community College. There I got the crazy idea in my head that one day I’d like to be a professor. Twelve years of education, a wife, two kids, a dog, and two moves across the country later, I landed at Los Angeles Valley College. I am very happy (and lucky) to be doing what I love. Education Riverside Community College (Transferred) Teaching You might find me teaching any of the Phil courses at LAVC. But so far I have taught or plan to teach the following courses:
Introduction to Philosophy Philosophical Interests Ethics, Social Philosophy (esp. the Philosophy of Race), Latin American Philosophy, Philosophy of Religion, and a whole bunch of other stuff. Other Interests When I am not doing philosophy, I am either hanging out with my family, watching basketball, playing basketball (I love the game!), watching reruns of Seinfeld and The Office, or taking a walk. |
