M.A. California State University Northridge Mr. Milner has taught Principles of Microeconomics, Principles of Macroeconomics, Economics for the Citizen, Economic History of the US, and Statistics for Economics and Business. Mr. Milner taught at Michael Owens Community College, Ohio, from 1971 - 1973. He taught full time at LAVC from 1973 – 2008, and continues to teach part-time. He served as Economics Department Chair from 1983 – 2003, and as the Philosophy/ Economics/Jewish Studies/Hebrew Studies Department Chair from 2004 – 2008.The committees/activities that Mr. Milner served on are: Accreditation, Student Grievance Appeal, ITV Selection, Pittenger Scholarship, Department Hourly Rate Hiring, College Budget, College Instructional Programs, Departmental Council, Petitions, New Courses and Programs, Curriculum, TAP instruction, Faculty Senate, Department Program Review. He enjoys movies, traveling, tennis and his grandchildren. |
