Dr. Aksoy teaches Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, U.S. Economic History, History of Economic Thought, Comparative Economic Systems and Financial Economics. At other colleges he also taught Intermediate and Advanced Micro and Macro Theory, Economic Development, Mathematical Economics, International Trade, and Finance.
Dr. Aksoy taught at CSU Fullerton [full-time], Michigan State University, University of Michigan, Claremont McKenna College, Pitzer College, Chapman University, Calpoly Pomona, Mt. San Antonio College, and Saddleback Community College.
The committees/activities that Dr. Aksoy served on are: IPC, Accreditation, Student Grievance, ITV Selection, TAP Instruction, Department Program Review, etc.
Dr. Aksoy has published a book and professional articles. He enjoys classical music, ethnic music, literature, history, financial markets, investing, cooking and soccer.
