This page is provided by the IT department as answers to some common questions.

If you need training on using any LAVC system, contact the Staff Development office at extension 2712.

 

If your computer is still using Netware, put a WSO to be upgraded to Windows only.

 

Changing your network password (Netware password)

  1. Start and log into your computer as you would normally do.
  2. Press CTRL+ALT+DEL. The Netware Security window will open.

  3. Click "Change Password". The Change Password window will open

  4. Type in your old password and new password in the appropriate fields, and then click "OK".

 

Changing your Email password (Windows password)
This instructions are for the Desktop version of Outlook on Windows computers using Netware. If you use the Web, look at "Microsoft Outlook (Web version)" on the main page.

  1. Start and log into your computer as you would normally do.
  2. Double click on the "Microsoft Outlook" icon on your Desktop. Microsoft Outlook Icon The Password window will open.
