LAVC passwords

This page is provided by the IT department as answers to some common questions.

For further technical information, call the IT Help Desk at extension 2489.

If you need training on using any of the LAVC systems, contact the Staff Development office at extension 2712.

 

Changing your DEC password

  1. Call the IT Help Desk at extension 2489

 

Changing your LACCD Instructor system password

  1. The LACCD Instructor System uses the DEC password.
  2. Follow the instructions on how to change your DEC password.
  3. The LACCD Instructor System is used to View your class roster, Assign grades to students and Exclude students from classes.

 

Changing your network/email password
These instructions are for computers using Windows only. The network and email password are one and the same.

For computers that still have Netware, click HERE.

  1. Start and log into your computer as you would normally do.
  2. Press CTRL+ALT+DEL. The Window Security window will open.

  3. Click "Change Password". The Change Password window will open

  4. Type in your old password and new password in the appropriate fields, and then click "OK".

 

Changing your Work and Service Order system password

  1. The WSO system uses the network/email password.
  2. Follow the instructions on how to change your network/email password.

 

eRPA password

  1. You need to contact the eRPA LAVC Local Administrator

 

SAP password

  1. Call extension 2317 (at LAVC) or contact the SAP Help Desk (District office)
  2. For any other kind of request or problem, contact the SAP Help Desk

 

SARS-GRID passwords

  1. IT Help Desk can reset your existing "SARSmenu" or "SARSCALL / SARSCALL Record" passwords but cannot create new accounts. Read "Account setup" on the IT Help Desk Main page.
  2. For the "SARSmenu" password, call the IT Help Desk at extension 2489.
  3. For the "SARSCALL / SARSCALL Record" password, call the IT Help Desk at extension 2489.
  4. SARS-VN connects you to the LAVC-SARSCALL server to use the "SARSCALL" and "SARSCALL Record" programs. SARS-VNC uses the your network password. Follow the instructions on how to change your network password.

 

UIA password

  1. Your UIA password is your employee number.
  2. If you need your password to be reset, call the IT Help Desk at extension 2489.

 

Changing your voice mail password

  1. Log into your voice mail and press 16. Then, press 2.
  2. If you need your password to be reset, call extension 2317.
