Coach Youssef Terta returns to the Monarchs for his fourth season as the team's fitness and conditioning coach. Terta, who has had a successful playing career in the United States, saw the pinnacle of his playing success when his Los Angeles Mission College Eagles captured the conference championship in 2003.
As an integral part of the coaching staff with the green and gold, Terta is responsible for ensuring the team is physically and mentally ready to compete at the collegiate level.
Originally from Morocco, Terta was a member of the Kenitra Athletic Club as a youth player and has been called up to the U17 Moroccan National Indoor Team. He began his coaching career at the junior college level and today entertains aspirations of coaching at a higher level. Adding to his full slate, Terta is an "on call" coach with the Los Angeles Galaxy whenever there are clinics conducted by the club. To his credit, this highly talented coach holds a USSF National D coaching license.
With his perseverance, coupled with his knowledge and understanding of the game, Terta has a promising career in the coaching ranks in the United States and abroad. Monarch Soccer is thrilled to have someone with his experience and determination to keep the Monarchs razor sharp.
