The Renovation of Monarch Stadium

After more than half a century of use, Monarch Stadium (along with much of the Monarchs' sports complex) is receiving a facelift. Later this year, the Monarch Athletics will unveil a state of the art, 10-lane NCAA Mondo track; football/soccer field made of Sprinturf; and receive a new visitors' section. Nearby, the gymnasium complex will undergo expansion, the south gym and coaches' offices will undergo renovation, the north gym will be expanded, two new pools will be constructed, the baseball field will receive a new scoreboard and offices, and a 5,000 square foot addition the SSD fitness center will be made.
